The Rotary Reef Education Project — Randolph High School Interact Club

Randolph, Vermont, United States

Randolph Union High School students train in reef rescue and marine conservation, connecting classroom learning to hands-on ocean stewardship.

Announced 24 August 2026

A landlocked Vermont high school is an unlikely place to build reef scientists — which is exactly the point. The Interact Club trains students in reef rescue technique and marine conservation, then puts them in the water. It is proof that ocean stewardship is not the exclusive property of coastal communities.
