The Panama Project

The Panama Project works from Bocas del Toro, where reef decline, plastic pressure and limited marine-science education meet in a single archipelago. The project pairs hands-on coral restoration with a youth education pipeline, so the people who will inherit the reef are the same people learning to rebuild it. Clean-energy and community-stewardship components round out an approach that treats the reef, the classroom and the local economy as one system.
