Create Lasting Impact

About the Program

A competition designed to find partners who share our values — not just our goals.

The Rotary Club of Newport Beach’s 100 Projects in 100 Countries “Create Lasting Impact” program is an invitation to join a network built on shared values, mutual service, and the belief that local action — when connected to the right global network — can create change that lasts generations.

Rotary International is a powerful global force for good, but that power is only unlocked for organisations that genuinely embrace what we call Service Above Self. This program is not a funding mechanism. It is a way for the right project to meet the right Rotarian.

“Rotary’s 1.4 million members represent one of the most powerful forces for good on earth — but we cannot do this alone. The challenges of our time are too vast, too urgent, and too interconnected for any one organisation to solve. We need to build a coalition: like-minded service clubs, NGOs, faith-based organisations and corporations who believe, as we do, that service above self is not just a value — it is a strategy.”

The Environmental Xperience & The Rotary Xperience

100 Projects in 100 Countries is presented in partnership with The Environmental Xperience — a series of global sustainability events. The 2026 edition coincided with the 15th anniversary of EarthX, held 20–22 April 2026 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, uniting leaders from more than 100 countries across a 73,000 sq ft immersive environment covering energy, ocean, carbon, investment and community impact.

Within that event, The Rotary Xperience is a dedicated showcase for the 100 Projects program, presented in partnership with CNN’s Call to Earth. Honorees may be featured in future Environmental Xperience conferences around the globe — one of the most significant promotional opportunities this program offers.
